Senior Meals

  • If you receive meals from one of the City of LA's multipurpose centers, you can now have up to a week's worth of food delivered to reduce the number of deliveries and needed interactions.

  • All Vallarta supermarkets will be open for seniors and disabled people and people who are pregnant from 7 a.m.-8 a.m. beginning 3/18.
  • Grocery Outlet in Altadena (2270 Lake Ave, Altadena, CA 91001) will have shopping for seniors only from 7 a.m.-8 a.m. every day starting 3/19. More information here.
  • All Super A Markets will open one hour early for seniors 65 years and older to shop 7 a.m.-8 a.m. More information here.
  • All Superior Grocers will open one hour early to allow seniors 65 years and older and older and those with disabilities to exclusively shop during the hours of 7 a.m.- 8 a.m. before the store opens to the general public.

  • LAUSD is opening 60 sites providing two grab-and-go meals for students and families beginning on Wednesday, March 18, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • List of all Alliance Campuses serving food from March 16-27 on weekdays from 8am to 12pm (for Alliance Charter School Scholars only)
  • Compton Unified School District will provide food services for students as well as any youth under the age of 18 who can show a valid ID affirming their age. Starting Monday, March 16, breakfast will be provided from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and our Lunch will be provided from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Students will only be able to pick up meals to-go but will not be able to eat them on campus. The breakfast and lunch will be available at seven school sites, chosen to maximize coverage throughout the District

  • Inglewood Unified School District will be serving meals to all children, ages 2-19, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.* each day, starting Monday, March 16, 2020. Children, ages 2-19 may visit ANY of these schools to receive a “take home” meal. They will be providing the meals at the following locations:

    • Hudnall Elementary School (located: 331 W. Olive St., Inglewood, CA 90301)
