The Programs & Evaluation Committee meets every third Friday of the month during the months of January through October.
During the months of November and December, the committee meets on the second Friday. Meetings begin at 9am.
The Programs & Evaluation Committee reviews program design, approve processes, solicit proposals, and make contract recommendations resulting from competitive solicitation processes to the Commission. The committee will also approve evaluation protocols instituted at LAHSA and will evaluate the quality of programs and outcomes of LAHSA-funded service providers. The Committee may hold joint meetings with the Planning & Policy Committee to integrate the results of program evaluation with project selection through the competitive proposal processes.
LAHSA Meeting Protocols:
Meetings are open to the public, and we encourage public attendance and participation. Twenty minutes of each meeting are reserved for testimony by the public, and each speaker is allowed three minutes. Speakers may address any topic not on the agenda. A "Request to Speak" form must be filled out and submitted to the secretary prior to the beginning of the public participation period.
Meeting agendas are posted 72 hours prior to the scheduled meeting time. For a listing of agendas and minutes, please refer to the Agendas & Minutes section. To read and print the documents, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click here to download a free copy of Adobe Acrobat.
Upon request, sign language interpreters, materials in alternative formats, and other accomodations are available to the public for LAHSA meetings. Requests for reasonable accomodations must be made at least three working days (72 hours) before the scheduled meeting time.
