The Policy & Planning Committee meets every second Thursday of the month during the months of January through October. During the months of November and December, the committee meets on the first Thursday. Meetings begin at 9am.

The Policy & Planning Committee reviews and discusses planning issues and processes, and makes recommendations to the Commission resulting from these discussions. The Committee also makes policy recommendations to the Commission on legislative and policy issues including state and federal appropriations and authorizing legislation relating to homelessness.

LAHSA Meeting Protocols:

Meetings are open to the public, and we encourage public attendance and participation. Twenty minutes of each meeting are reserved for testimony by the public, and each speaker is allowed three minutes. Speakers may address any topic not on the agenda. A "Request to Speak" form must be filled out and submitted to the secretary prior to the beginning of the public participation period.
